If you have learnt Nordic Walking and want to continue on a regular basis you can join our regular weekly social walks.

Some people have heard about Nordic Walking, or have perhaps tried it at one of the free try-out days run by the Total Care Podiatry, and wish to take it up as a regular fitness activity.

After having been trained in the correct technique of Nordic Walking, some people will be seen Nordic Walking out in the community, or in their own walking group.

Nordic Walking Geelong regularly conducts social walks to help people stay fit and active and using the nordic walking skills they have learnt.

If you belong to a walking group in the Geelong area and they would like an introduction to Nordic Walking, please call Total Care Podiatry to arrange a group introductory session with our qualified Nordic Walking instructor, Paul Graham.

Social Weekly Walks:

While assistance is given to help you get the best out of your Nordic Walking, our weekly walks are for people who have already participated in a Nordic Walking course and are confident in their ability to participate safely and effectively.

These walks cater for two levels of mobility: Nordic Walking for Health, for those with some physical limitations who like to take their time, and Nordic Walking for Fitness for those who want to power on.

Each Nordic Walk session is for approximately one hour and includes a warm up and warm down. Walkers are, however, responsible for their own health and fitness and participate in the social weekly walks at their own risk.

To join us on a walk please complete the waiver form and give it to the walk leader or return it to 209 Malop Street, Geelong 3220.
You only need to fill in this form once.
